Finish Line Festival

The Delorentos, fresh off a big win at the Meteor Choice Music Prize this year, with four members, Ró (vocals, guitar, piano), Kier (vocals, guitar), Níal (backing vocals) and Ross (drums, backing vocals) each taking lead vocals on various albums’ tracks and singles. Since each member has a singer-songwriter background, it’s no wonder the bands’ strength lies in their soulful melodies, uniquely blended with acoustic jams and old school rock n roll – the perfect soundtrack to the first ever Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin Half Marathon.

This Course Rocks!

Music every mile makes up the heart and “sole” of this event. Live bands and DJs will be playing a variety of music from alternative to classic rock, punk, funk and blues to jazz it up.

The bands set the tempo for the course, where runners and spectators alike will be “dancin’ in the streets” to these mini-concerts.

If you are interested in becoming a band on course for 2013, the application is now available. Please complete the online application by 10 June to be considered a candidate for the 2013 course.
